Kyoto Convention Bureau announces monthly survey on foreign visitors

Kyoto Convention Bureau announces they will conduct monthly survey on foreign visitors by the nationality with cooperation of 24 hotels in the city.

According to the survey, in April 2014, foreign visitors consist 40% of all, and 30% in May among all visitors, and Japanese visitor has fallen from the last year (93.03% in April, 94.61% in May, room occupancy base)

In addition, visitors from Europe, America and Oceania are the majority of them, in which Spain and Israel had 200% increase in April and May from the previous year.
