CEATEC JAPAN 2013 shows Technology for Future Society

CEATEC JAPAN organizing committee announced holding “CEATEC JAPAN 2013” in Makuhari Messe for 5 days from October 1st to 5th and started recruitment of exhibitors.

The theme of CEATEC JAPAN 2013 is “Smart Innovation – Technology for Future Society and Lifestyles”.

The exhibition is going to be consist of two stages: “Life & Society Stage” to propose creation of seamless lifestyles and “Key Technology Stage” made by cutting-edge electronic parts and devices which support innovation in the world.

Each stage is preparing to enhance communication. Life & Society, for instance, is trying its best to come up to the expectation by enhancing experiencing display, conference plan and media promotion as well. Especially in regard to the media promotion, the press conference, which was originally planned to be held the day before the opening is held earlier in the middle of September for a bigger ripple effect.

With respect to key technologies, in addition, the maintenance of expertise with zoning display, the delivery of information utilizing conferences as well as the enhancement of communication with innovative technology are planned in prospect, in order to maximize the effect of exhibition.

Also, from now onwards, “ITS International conference Tokyo 2013” and “Tokyo Motor show” will be additionally tied up; these entire events are expected to help raise the reputation of Japanese technology.

At Osaka Gift Show Spring 15 Thai companies display

The 49th Osaka International Gift Show Spring 2013 is going to be held for 2 days on March 6th and March 7th at Osaka Merchandise Mart (OMM).

At this show, a group of 15 Thai companies is displaying their outstanding OTOP items which were selected by the Thai’s Office of Small and Medium Enterprises Promotion.

OTOP stands for “One Tambon, One Product” and is a local entrepreneurship stimulus program promoted by the Thai government. Among about 30,000 OTOP items, 15 Thai companies have been carefully selected for this show. Lifestyle products that are ideal for export will be exhibited, and there will be some interpreters to support business talks at the venue.

Enrique Agustín, nuevo Director Delegado de la marca Mercure en España

 

La cadena Mercure ha nombrado a Enrique Agustín como Director Delegado de la marca en España. De 44 años, es Diplomado en Empresas y Actividades Turísticas por la Escuela Oficial de Turismo de Madrid, cuenta con un Postgrado de Especialidad en Dirección de Alojamientos Turísticos y Restauración y ha cursado un PMD en ESADE.

Enrique Agustín ha forjado gran parte de su trayectoria profesional dentro del Grupo Accor, concretamente en la cadena Novotel, donde ha dirigido varios hoteles como Novotel Valencia y Novotel Barcelona City y ha sido Director Delegado para la zona de Cataluña y Levante.

Como Director Delegado de Mercure España, Enrique Agustín tendrá bajo su responsabilidad la coordinación de la red de hoteles Mercure actualmente abiertos en el país: Mercure Madrid Plaza de España, Mercure Madrid Santo Domingo, Mercure, Mercure Thalasia Costa de Murcia, Mercure Burgos Rice y Mercure San Sebastián Monte Igueldo.  Entre sus objetivos figura la consolidación y el desarrollo de la red, principalmente a través de contratos de franquicia o management, y el incremento de la notoriedad de una marca internacional pero de inspiración local, con un firme compromiso de calidad

Palau de Congressos de Catalunya: más cerca que nunca, a través de las redes sociales

Se han convertido en un elemento clave de comunicación e información y, por ello, el Palau de Congressos de Catalunya ha apostado por estar presente en las Redes Sociales. A partir de ahora, los usuarios que lo deseen pueden estar al día de los eventos y congresos que se desarrollan en el Palau de Congressos de Catalunya, de una manera más dinámica y actualizada, a través de sus perfiles en Youtube; Facebook; Twitter; Linkedin y Vimeo.                      

Los usuarios españoles son los europeos que más interactúan con marcas y empresas en las redes sociales. En concreto, un 44% de los usuarios utiliza los medios sociales para comunicarse con empresas.  Estas son algunas de las conclusiones del estudio de Ipsos, basado en las respuestas de entre un total de 12.000 entrevistas en 24 países que permite ver el grado de uso de las redes sociales para la interacción de usuarios con empresas.  “Las redes sociales son un vehículo de comunicación interpersonal que ha abierto nuevas formas de interacción entre usuarios y entidades o empresas. Por esta razón, desde el Palau de Congressos de Catalunya hemos realizado una gran apuesta por potenciar nuestra presencia on-line, como estrategia de posicionamiento y de crecimiento”, señala Nacho Soler, director general de GEC Global Exhibitions Centers.
El segmento Business & Events ha demostrado ser uno de los ámbitos económicos que, de una manera más dinámica, se ha adaptado a las nuevas demandas introducidas por el uso de las redes sociales. Con la apertura de estos perfiles del Palau de Congressos de Catalunya se favorece, asimismo, a revitalizar y hacer más visible los datos y eventos que hacen de este segmento, el  turismo de negocios,  uno de los ámbitos que generan un mayor impacto económico. En este sentido, en la ciudad de Barcelona,  el Palau de Congressos de Catalunya ha superado en 2012 los 22 millones de Euros.
