The 1st Marketing Technology Fair successfully opened
“Approximately 20 years ago, major marketing tools were analogue like advertising and posters. Nowadays, however, they evolved into integrated campaigns such as development of websites or utilization of SNS coupled with TV commercials. Conventional skills and technologies make a great deal of progress.”
On the first day of “Marketing Technology Fair 2013 in Tokyo”, which is being held in Tokyo for the first time, Mr. Christopher Eve, president of UBM Japan which organizes this event, makes an introduction of exhibitors with the following comments, showing relieved and delighted expression because of well attended first event.
“Marketing Technology Fair” is an exhibition held internationally. It’s called “TFM&A(TECHNOLOGY FOR MARKETING & ADVERTISING)” in UK, India and China.
It introduces various types of new services which support companies’ marketing activities such as social media, database, CRM, direct marketing and so on.
Besides, its unique point is a variety of seminars to learn innovative marketing methods through learning users’ examples. In Japan, this fair was tied in the exhibiton of call centers and E-commerce in Osaka last year. This fair in Tokyo will be a actual start.
Domestic and foreign MICE staff gathering in Sapporo
Sapporo MICE Promotion Committee is having a “Sapporo/Hokkaido MICE Contents Mart” meeting from February 25th to March 27th in the Sapporo Convention Center.
A memorial seminar, a memorandum by Thai and Korean MICE organizations, a job fair and an exhibition, among others, were held. Domestic and foreign MICE staff, including fifty MICE key persons from overseas have gathered.
The exhibition was open on two days – 26th and 27th in the Grand Hall C of Sapporo Convention Center.

Junior high school students were explained about businesses of events
7th grade students of Niigata junior high school affiliated with the education department in Niigata University carried out a round exploration visiting public offices and institutions for 2days on Feb.21th, 22nd.
They had a study meeting in the National Olympic Memorial Youth Center with a guest speaker; Yusaku Nagato, who is an executive director of the Zeal Associateas. He explained students about his own school days, getting employments, and projects of events and spatial designs that the company undertakes.
At the end of the speech, he sent students a message that urged them to find what they can love and to commit it.
