Japan congress & convention bureau (JCCB) held the 2013 annual plenary session at the Keio Plaza Hotel on June 17th.
At the opening ceremony, Mr. Inoguchi, the chairperson, looking back on the last year’s performance, stated that JCCB reformed the financial foundation by delegating the secretariat’s operations to JNTO and delegated the running of the international meeting expo to the Nikkei BP Corp, and these two reforms have been successful.
At the plenary session, the following have been newly approved: more disclosure of the details about opening the meetings, study tours to Taiwan, redesign of brochures, project investigative operations, and combined opening of the convention industry sectional meeting and the convention bureau sectional meeting.
