2020 Olympic Games bidding committee members returned home with smile

The bidding committee members, who led 2020 Olympic Games to Tokyo at the International Olympic Committee (IOC) General Assembly held in Buenos Aires, Argentina, returned home on September 10. They held the report meeting at the square in front of Tokyo Metropolitan Government building addressing a crowd of approximately 6000 people.

“The cheers of all of you reached to Buenos Aires.” Naoki Inose, The Governor of Tokyo, addressed the crowd. Arter the meeting, a press conference was held in Tokyo Metropolitan Government building. The Bid Committee President of the Council and Vice Chairman, former Japanese Prime Minister Yoshiro Mori, announced the members’ on-site activities such as vote counting situation which changed with every moment.
