“JATA Tabihaku Travel Showcase 2013” opened on Sept 13 at Tokyo Big Sight. The participants ranging from 154 countries and
areas with 730 companies and organizations were spreading into largest ever 1353 rooms.
After the business meetings on 12th, “Tabihaku Night 2013” opened. Using Zojo-ji (Zojo Temple) as the unique venue, a Japanese space “TABIHAKU YOKOCHO” was recreated with the image of Edo in mind on the temple grounds. About 800 guests from ambassadors representing different countries to the exhibitors outside and inside Japan were there to enjoy the beauty of Japanese culture “omotenashi*” and were charmed by the MICE hosting venue.
