On the 11th of September, the “Okinawa Island contents fair and island exhibition in Tokyo” was held in the international forum in Tokyo.
This fair, that was organised together by the Okinawa prefecture and the Okinawa tourist convention bureau, was held as a part of the activities for activation and promotion of island tourism. It was held to effectively showcase the fascination of tourism on all the islands and their original products and promoted to people related to the products and agents of the regions to combine the activation of the region with the product creation.
It was the first fair only for islands outside the prefecture. About 600 people attended.
