Nintendo Live 2024 TOKYO to Open January 20 & 21 at Tokyo Big Sight

On August 30, 2023, Nintendo announced that Nintendo Live 2024 TOKYO will be held from January 20 to 21, 2024, in the Tokyo Big Sight’s East Halls 1-4. The event will consist of two world championships bringing together top players from across the globe, along with live music and a multitude of video game tournaments.

During the 2-day period, the world championships will be held for Splatoon 3 and Mario Kart 8 Deluxe. Competitors that place in preliminary tournaments in Japan, North America, Europe, and several other tournament regions will gather at the Tokyo Big Sight to battle it out for the title of World Champion.

In addition, attendees can look forward to live music performances from Splatoon 3 and the Legend of Zelda series. Memorable tracks from the Legend of Zelda will be performed by an orchestra, and the 3 members of Splatoon 3’s idol unit, Deep Cut, will offer a brand-new stage performance.

Teams and pairs will be able to participate in the tournaments for Splatoon 3 and Super Smash Bros. Ultimate. Pre-registration is required for admission and tournament participation. Applications for competitors opened in October, and entry into the lottery system for general admission tickets is available from November 22 to December 16.
