On March 27, 2026, TV Asahi officially opened “TOKYO DREAM PARK,” a multi-purpose entertainment complex in Ariake, Koto Ward, Tokyo. An inauguration ceremony was held on the opening day, featuring the comedy duo Sandwichman, Shigeaki Kato, who is creative producer, original author, and screenwriter for the theater’s debut production “Ambers,” and Doraemon. The guests took the stage to celebrate the launch of the new facility.
The TOKYO DREAM PARK facility consists of nine stories above ground and one below. It contains a multipurpose hall suitable for live performances, a theater with approximately 1,500 seats, exhibition and event spaces, restaurants, a rooftop plaza, and a studio equipped for live streaming. TV Asahi regards the facility as a new content distribution hub, designed for hosting events featuring its own intellectual property as well as for enabling collaborations with a wide range of partners.
So far, TV Asahi has made plans to implement the Japan debut of the “100% Doraemon & Friends” exhibition event, which has gained popularity overseas. Furthermore, they expect to introduce “RÊVE DES LUMIÈRES,” an immersive digital art theater that attracted over 1 million visitors annually in Paris. All eyes are watching how the new Ariake venue will establish itself as an urban entertainment complex that spans live music, theater, exhibitions, and dining.
