{"id":10880,"date":"2013-06-11T21:50:39","date_gmt":"2013-06-11T12:50:39","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.exhibitionindustrynews.co.uk\/?p=3070"},"modified":"2013-06-11T21:50:39","modified_gmt":"2013-06-11T12:50:39","slug":"aibtm-and-genieconnect-partner-to-deliver-multi-event-app","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.eventbiz.net\/english\/?p=10880","title":{"rendered":"AIBTM and GenieConnect partner to deliver multi-event app"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Americas Incentive, Business Travel and Meetings Exhibition, AIBTM (www.aibtm.com) has partnered with GenieConnect (www.genie-connect.com) to deliver a multi-event App which is available for download (or update) at this year\u2019s AIBTM taking place in Chicago\u2019s McCormick Place June 11-13. <\/p>\n<p>Sponsored by Tourism Vancouver, this year\u2019s new app will add to the show\u2019s promise of crowdsourcing by allowing attendees to provide immediate feedback on anything from the keynote addresses to education sessions.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe use of the IBTM Global Events app goes hand in hand with this year\u2019s theme which calls for maximum interactivity,\u201d said Jaime Rosov Marketing Director for AIBTM. \u201cOur goal is to elicit as much attendee feedback as possible to \u2018Define The Future of Meetings\u2026 Together\u2019, and the mobile app will serve as a platform to help make that happen.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>In addition to its crowdsourcing functionality, the app contains nine sections specifically designed to keep attendees organised and up to date:<\/p>\n<p>\u2022\tProgramme: Houses the schedule of events and specialty features for each day of the show<br \/>\n\u2022\tSpeakers: Offers an alphabetised list of all speakers scheduled to present during education sessions<br \/>\n\u2022\tExhibitors: Gives an alphabetised list of all exhibitors and their booth numbers, searchable by exhibitor type or product interest.<br \/>\n\u2022\tMy Event: Allows attendees to personalise their AIBTM experience by creating their own agenda and adding favorites.<br \/>\n\u2022\tMaps: Provides a state of the art interactive map of the show floor<br \/>\n\u2022\tNews &#038; Social: Includes access to AIBTM\u2019s social media channels, including Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube and i-Meet along with Tourism Vancouver\u2019s twitter feed<br \/>\n\u2022\tMy Guide: Offers general information about AIBTM, McCormick Place, Tourism Vancouver and different events taking place throughout the course of the show<br \/>\n\u2022\tMessages: Allows attendees to receive important alerts and messages regarding show floor activities and networking opportunities<br \/>\n\u2022\tLocal Guide: Provides an alphabetised list of local vendors, including restaurants and bars for those interested in exploring Chicago<\/p>\n<p>Jackie Groves, Vice President of Sales and Marketing comments, \u201cWe are delighted to be working with AIBTM again this year and supporting them to deliver an event App which will help all of the show attendees get the very most out of their participation at the show.
