{"id":10974,"date":"2013-06-19T19:10:53","date_gmt":"2013-06-19T10:10:53","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.exhibitionindustrynews.co.uk\/?p=3150"},"modified":"2013-06-19T19:10:53","modified_gmt":"2013-06-19T10:10:53","slug":"nec-responds-to-client-needs","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.eventbiz.net\/english\/?p=10974","title":{"rendered":"NEC responds to client needs"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Following the appointment of Adrian Evans as Account Director for Conference and Live Events earlier this year, the NEC has reinforced its commitment to growing its conference business with the addition of a new conference suite.<\/p>\n<p>The Centre Suite, located in the Piazza, is easily accessible to all shows and events held in Halls 1 \u2013 5 and takes the venue\u2019s total to 34.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIn spite of our continued successful delivery, we\u2019re still not recognised for our conferencing capability and it\u2019s a perception we want to change,\u201d says Evans.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe host over 400 conferences and live events and around 140 trade and consumer shows at the NEC each year, so we\u2019re definitely the venue of choice.
