In true Media 10 spirit, the company is supporting her during her treatment with a public shearing taking place in the office today, with members of staff taking to the barber\u2019s chair to have their hair shaved.<\/p>\n<p>The public shearing is taking place in their Essex offices, with other fund-raising activities taking place throughout the day including a Bake Sale and a local fancy dress, fund-raising pub crawl to raise even more money for Macmillan.<\/p>\n<p>The team have smashed their target of \u00a310,000, having raised over \u00a311,000 so far, and are now hoping to raise \u00a315,000 by the weekend. If you wish to sponsor them visit\u00a0<a  rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"http:\/\/www.justgiving.com\/10-baldheads\">www.justgiving.com\/10-baldheads<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Lee Newton comments \u201c<i>Originally I was going to be the only one shaving my hair off in support of Gill during her treatment, which is strange as I\u2019ve spent most of my life trying to hide the bald patches. Once the word got out, I was amazed at how many of my fellow Directors and now staff, joined in the cause and have consequently volunteered. For every person in my team that\u2019s volunteered I\u2019ve made an additional \u00a320 donation and we\u2019ve now raised over \u00a310,000 and hoping to get to \u00a315,000 by the weekend: an amazing amount to a great cause! I\u2019m so proud of the spirit of the team<\/i>.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Media 10 Limited, is a privately owned media and events company in Loughton, Essex, who recently organised the Coronation Festival, at Buckingham Palace 11-14 July 2013. The event was the first time an exhibition had ever been staged in the Gardens of Buckingham Palace and saw over 60,000 visitors in attendance.
