{"id":24008,"date":"2021-06-18T11:50:14","date_gmt":"2021-06-18T02:50:14","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.eventbiz.net\/english\/?p=24008"},"modified":"2021-07-22T14:28:16","modified_gmt":"2021-07-22T05:28:16","slug":"6-18-covid-10-roundup-current-status-of-the-state-of-emergency-and-restrictions-social-events-and-the-use-of-public-areas","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.eventbiz.net\/english\/?p=24008","title":{"rendered":"[6\/18] COVID-19 roundup: Current status of the state of emergency and restrictions, social events, and the use of public areas."},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Japanese government is lifting the state of emergency on Sunday, June 20th for Tokyo and eight prefectures: Kyoto, Osaka, Hyogo, Aichi, Fukuoka, Hokkaido, Okayama, and Hiroshima.<br \/>\nSeven of the nine prefectures: Tokyo, Kyoto, Osaka, Hyogo, Aichi, Fukuoka, and Hokkaido, will still remain under the number of restrictions until July 11th.<\/p>\n<p>Restrictions still in place and extended for Saitama, Chiba, and Kanagawa until July 11th, while all are removed from Gifu and Mie prefectures.<\/p>\n<p>Current status of the State of Emergency:<br \/>\nTokyo, Kyoto, Osaka, Hyogo, Aichi, Fukuoka, Hokkaido: State of emergency ends June 20th, then replaced by intensive restrictions until July 11th.<br \/>\nOkayama, Hiroshima: State of emergency ends June 20th, followed by transitional measures<br \/>\nOkinawa: State of emergency extended until July 11th.<\/p>\n<p>Current status of the Intensive Restrictions:<br \/>\nSaitama, Chiba, and Kanagawa Prefectures: Restrictions extended until July 11th<br \/>\nGifu and Mie Prefectures: Restrictions lifted on June 29th followed by one-month-long of transitional measures<\/p>\n<p>*the limit is the lesser of the capacity ratio or the maximum number of persons.<\/p>\n<p>The following is a summary of the notice issued by the Japanese government to prefectural governors on June 17th regarding restrictions on the holding of events and the use of public spaces.<\/p>\n<p>For prefectures excluded from the areas where restrictions should be carried out after June 17th, transitional measures will be applied for approximately one month, with the number of new guidelines for holding events.<\/p>\n<p>In addition, specific instructions taking into consideration the nature of the event and its capacity have been put in place as well.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Japanese government is lifting the state of emergency on Sunday, June 20th for Tokyo and eight prefectures: Kyoto, Osaka, Hyogo, Aichi, Fukuoka, Hokkaido, Okayama, and Hiroshima.
