{"id":9351,"date":"2013-03-19T18:43:21","date_gmt":"2013-03-19T09:43:21","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.eventbiz.net\/english\/?p=9351"},"modified":"2013-03-20T19:00:25","modified_gmt":"2013-03-20T10:00:25","slug":"japan-tourism-agency-held-the-second-mice-conference-for-the-enhancement-of-international-competitiveness","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.eventbiz.net\/english\/?p=9351","title":{"rendered":"JTA held 2nd MICE Conference for international competitiveness"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.eventbiz.net\/english\/files\/2013\/03\/880f4806d50fafb1e13864abf4855d53.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-9352\" title=\"880f4806d50fafb1e13864abf4855d53\" src=\"http:\/\/www.eventbiz.net\/english\/files\/2013\/03\/880f4806d50fafb1e13864abf4855d53-e1363772670116.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"600\" height=\"398\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>On March 7th, Japan Tourism Agency(JTA) held &#8220;the second MICE Conference for the enhancement of international competitiveness&#8221; in the executive conference room of the Central Government Building No.3.<\/p>\n<p>Twelve members of the committee selected from MICE-related associations, private companies and local governments as well as the staffs of JTA including the director general Mr.Ida of JTA attended the conference.<\/p>\n<p>The officials of Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry, Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology, Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Japan also attended the conference as observers.<\/p>\n<p>Opening the conference, the result of the interview\u00a0conducted\u00a0by organizers of international conference was introduced.<br \/>\nThey requested\uff1a<br \/>\n\u30fbNecessity of\u00a0the support from the government seeing the attraction of international conferences as an investiment<br \/>\n\u30fbTo recognize the invitation of international conferences as a career development opportunity for young people<br \/>\n\u30fbIn case of the failure of the invitation of a conference, the cost in the preparatory stage will be a risk and the income unfixed up to the event.<\/p>\n<p>etc.<\/p>\n<p>As an immediate measure to take, the fostering of MICE cities is proposed.<\/p>\n<p>As a first step, select and support MICE cities in the next fiscal year.\u00a0As a second step, select strategic major urban areas in 2015.
